1. Who we are
PixelPrototypes (PixelPrototypes.com) is a free tool for building clickable prototypes from images. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: info@pixelprototypes.com.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: email address, name and a securely hashed password.
- Content you upload: screen images, projects, hotspots, comments and replies.
- Collaboration data: project memberships, @mentions and notification preferences.
- Technical data: basic logs (e.g. IP address, timestamps) needed to run and secure the service.
3. Why we use it (legal bases)
- To provide the service you signed up for — contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To send notifications you have enabled — contract / your settings, which you can change anytime.
We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
4. AI features
When you click "AI Summary", the comment text of that screen is sent to Google Gemini (Google LLC) to generate the summary. Nothing is sent unless you trigger it. We log usage counts (not content) to measure the feature.
5. Service providers
We use a managed cloud platform for hosting, authentication, database and file storage, an email provider for notifications, and Google Gemini for AI summaries. Some providers may process data outside the EU under Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards. See our Trust page for security details.
6. Cookies
We only use strictly necessary storage (your sign-in session). We use no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies, so no consent banner is required.
7. Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete content or your account, it is removed from active systems, and from backups within a reasonable period.
8. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority (in Bulgaria: the Commission for Personal Data Protection).
9. Children
PixelPrototypes is not intended for anyone under 16.
10. Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
